I just can't say enough good things
about this little mare. She belongs to my good friend, Barb, from
West Virginia. Honestly, I think she'd be crazy to sell her! Shad is a
dream come true. She has a BEAUTIFUL little head, with a big, kind
eye, pretty muzzle, and a jaw that quarter horse mares would
envy. Her conformation is wonderful - although she is built more
like you would expect a Morgan to be - smaller in height,
well-muscled, and powerful. She has a broad chest, short back, great
hip, and good strong, straight legs. She has a fantastic
gait...smooth as silk and she'll go right down the trail with it.
She is broke for just about anyone to ride. If you can get up and
hang on, this sweet mare will give you a wonderful ride. I can't
tell you about Shad without telling you about her personality... she
has loads! You'd be hard pressed to find a sweeter, more loving
mare. While she was with us being bred to Gambler, the whole farm
fell in love with her. She would give everyone "kisses" (she licks
you!) and just LOVED to be groomed, talked to, or just looked at.
Shad is also a proven broodmare. Someone will be very lucky to obtain this wonderful
mare. - Stephanie Clatterbuck of
